Rihanna or Riri as she’s often called has been an outstanding figure in many industries, most especially the business, fashion and of course the music industry which is where she is well known at.

For a while, she seems to have focused more on her business and her fashion line — and she has not dropped any other album since Anti which was her eighth album in a line of mind-blowing jams that can be ascribed to Rihanna. As it’s been over four years since the megastar dropped an album she seems to be making a comeback soon to the music platform and no one is happier with this news than her loyal and ever-faithful fans.

According to an interview she had with British Vogue as the May 2020 issue cover girl, she spoke about an upcoming album which is filled with a variety of styles, something only Rihanna can pull off as she said, “I don’t want my albums to feel like themes. There are no rules. There’s no format. There’s just good music, and if I feel it, I’m putting it out.” She also added, “I feel like I have no boundaries. I’ve done everything—I’ve done all the hits, I’ve tried every genre—now I’m just, I’m wide open. I can make anything that I want.”

The Navy as her fans are collectively called are definitely overexcited with this new development, and the Queen doesn’t stop there as she has retained her promise of releasing a reggae album for her ever-loyal fans.

With all that album work ongoing one would think she has stopped handling her business and her fashion line but the truth is that she has not, rather she seems to have intensified her efforts in all her areas and she explained the reason behind such hard work as she said, “I’m working like this now so that I don’t have to in the future.” A future where she hopes to spend more time with her children as she did confirm in her interview with the magazine saying, “three or four of ’em” either with a partner or without one by the time she is 42.

To the idea of with or without a partner she added, “I feel like society makes me want to feel like, ‘Oh, you got it wrong…’ They diminish you as a mother if there’s not a dad in your kids’ lives. But the only thing that matters is happiness, that’s the only healthy relationship between a parent and a child. That’s the only thing that can raise a child truly, is love.”

As a 32-year-old mega diva, she still has a lot of albums to blow her fans with, and a lot of work and fashion to put out to the world. But until the latest-to-be album is out, the world shall await Riri’s return.
