Rihanna Drops Savage X Fenty Designer Collab For The Valentine’s Day

Rihanna seems to have been steering the reigns of her life towards the business and fashion world and her steering skills seems to be improving more and more with her plans and projects for her brand.

One of which is the latest announced collaboration for Valentine’s Day, the first-ever designer collaboration and Valentine’s Day capsule collection.

The collaboration includes not just the diva herself, but also Adam Selman who was very responsible for the look of the decade of Rihanna’s CFDA Awards naked dress. Rihanna’s confirmation for the collaboration came as she ascertained in a statement that “Adam is everything the brand stands for – fun, playful, sexy.”

The brand has been going through a lot of great achievements as the diva herself has been pushing her brand to reach the highest level. In September, the brand debuted a colourful and beautiful runway show during the New York Fashion Week, in November, the brand was once again at the forefront of all fashion news as the news that Normani would be the first-ever celebrity ambassador for Fenty came up. And now for 2020, a 19-piece Valentine’s Day drop will arrive for the brand in the form of two collections, which are ‘Locket Down’ and ‘Down the Aisle.’

While ‘Locket Down’ will entail the ’80s-inspired ruffles and bows, ‘Down the Aisle’ is influenced by an ’80s riot girl aesthetic. The collection is also said to include two VIP boxes of Locket Down Which goes for $59.95 and Down the Aisle at $39.95. The sizes for the collection will range from 32A to 42DD and XS to 3X.

According to Adam Selman, the collaboration is a mix of Rihanna, himself, as well as the Savage X customer. He says, “I wanted it to have a little bit of frill and a little bit of ruffle, but I wanted to have a little bit of sleaze, too — and I’m using ‘sleaze’ as a good word because I wanted it to be really sexy and fun.”

He further says, “Lingerie is something I’ve always wanted to design. So many of my collections have been influenced and inspired by lingerie detailing and fabrics, so I jumped at the chance when Rihanna approached me to collaborate with Savage X Fenty. Creating sexy pieces that empower and make you feel confident is at the core of everything I do, that is something Rihanna and I have always connected over.”

Definitely, the Savage X Fenty Designer Collab And Valentine’s Day Collection is going to be something to look forward to as we will all be wearing a little of Rihanna along the way as these superb and unique creations are all a little part of the great masterminds behind the collaboration, Rihanna and Adam Selman.
