With so much going on in her life, most especially with the Scooter Braun face-off, Taylor sure had a lot of reasons to be happy and to celebrate as she celebrates her 30th birthday.
Despite the very busy day she has had, with her set at Z100’s Jingle Ball at Madison Square Garden, Taylor still had the best birthday bash a woman of 30 could ever dream of, and her friends and fans who have been with her all through her journey have not been left out.
Earlier in the day at Jingle Ball, the singer dressed in sparkly dress and thigh-high boots got a beautiful three-tier birthday cake which had the photo of her three cats and was coloured in purple and white icing presented to her by the radio host, Elvis Duran. Taylor’s joy sure had no bounds as she had her fans and the audience present singing the “Happy Birthday” song to her and her response to it was to thank the audience as she said, “That was the most beautiful song I’ve ever heard.”
The day before her birthday, Taylor was already in the celebration spirit as she was honored at Billboard’s Women in Music awards with the Billboard Woman of the Decade award, a first time award which Taylor had the opportunity to receive. In her very moving speech at the occasion, Taylor not only spoke about how honoured she was to receive the award but also called Scooter Braun out and had a word for all those who judged her concerning the situation.
To cap up her special day, she had her birthday bash at Oscar Wilde restaurant in New York City with great celebrity friends of hers in attendance, such as her fellow Jingle Ball performers Halsey, 5 Seconds of Summer and Camila Cabello, as well as Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, Queer Eye stars Antoni Porowski and Jonathan Van Ness and supermodel Gigi Hadid.
Her birthday cake arrived topped with roses and life-like frosting decorations of her beloved pet cats; Olivia, Meredith, and Benjamin. Overflowing with emotions she posted a picture of her cake and captioned “Fur real guys this was my cake.”
Pictures of her splendid day flooded Instagram as she posted pictures showcasing all the fun with her special guests in her Christmas themed photo booth and also of her cake. Amongst the many captioned pictures she had, she was able to express her joy as she wrote, “Honestly spending my 30th with the fans who have made my life what it is at jingle ball, then throwing the most aggressive holiday party known to womankind… I just.. seriously feel so lucky for you all and will spend forever trying to find ways to say thank you. *cries in Christmas tree*.”
