Kylie Jenner of the Kardashian clan, hails from a very prosperous family of superstars and business owners and from the beginning always knew she had a lot to do to be a member of the huge family and she sure has lived up to the expectations and even beyond.
Kylie in 2015 launched her own line of cosmetics; Kylie Cosmetics which supported by her family and fans propelled her to be named by Forbes as the most successful female businesswomen in July 2018, with an outlet of more than $630 million worth of makeup. Forbes estimated the brand alone to be worth nearly $800 million at the time.
Now in 2019, with big sister Kim on a societal revolution and the entire family on a roller coaster of activities, Kylie seems to be taking another step forward in the business world as the news of her new partnership has taken the stage.
Kylie Jenner just officially sold the majority shares of Kylie Cosmetics to Coty for $600 million, she sold 51% of her shares and ownership of her company and signature business to her new partner Coty.
Coty is also a company that deals with beauty products and also beauty brands like Covergirl, OPI, Rimmel, GHD and Clairol.
According to the chief creative officer of Coty, Pierre Laubiues, he said: “We are pleased to welcome Kylie into our organization and family. Combining Kylie’s creative vision and unparalleled consumer interest with Coty’s expertise and leadership in prestige beauty products is an exciting next step in our transformation and will leverage our core strengths around fragrances, cosmetics and skincare, allowing Kylie’s brands to reach their full potential.”
To Kylie this is another avenue for her to develop more on her products as she and her team will continue to lead all creative efforts of product development and communication initiatives while she also intends to extend her target audience and consumer line beyond what she already has as she says she and her team will continue to lead all creative efforts of product development and communication initiatives as she emphasis in a release that “This partnership will allow me and my team to stay focused on the creation and development of each product while building the brand into an international beauty powerhouse.”
And it’s not only Kylie that foresees great potential from this partnership as Coty has speculated that this is an avenue for more improvement on the Kylie beauty and skin care products and also the probability of branching into the fragrance line while improving the distribution of the product to a greater and bigger market.
This new partnership is sure going to be a big stamp greatness on Kylie’s history for just like every other Kardashian, she has greatness laying ahead of her.
